ENGLISH & SCANDINAVIAN TV-SAT

The small dishes (less to 0.80 mtrs) are easy to install, it needs good guidance and good fix, if it is bigger than  1.20 mtrs we must to be carefully especially with wind power.
But I will take care for the dishes we used to receive TV signals from English and /or Scandinavia satellites,  they need antennas of 1.80 mtrs to 2.40 mtrs and require extreme caution, to the weight of the dish and the supporting structure in galvanized steel we must add the wind strength, and it is considerable, the biggest problems I found installing this type of antenna is on the supporting structure, it is important to choose first class materials, the installer must to give all the warranties, fixation may be on the ground (doing a concrete base) or one of the walls of the house (well-heeled chemical anchored guy ropes), in orientation and collecting the wave frequency must be very sharp and professional work hard and accurate I’m talking about millimetres, the satellites are thousands of miles away, so we need a big eye to see them; If we move 1 millimetre in the orientation of the antenna this means a couple of kilometres on the space where the satellite is.
We have installed in buildings or houses antennas for a group of neighbouring Norway and Sweden (satellite Thor), one antenna can serve various receptors, but we loose quality, I don’t recommend more than 4 (LNB 4 outputs) other way we must install some signal amplifier, in the same way no more than 50 mtrs from the antenna to the receiver/decoder box.
On the Costa Blanca Alicante is easy to find the signal, depending on location, northern Alicante (Alfaz del Pi, Denia, etc.) always have received the signal with 1.80 mtrs dish, but south Alicante (and Murcia), we have to install 2.40 mtrs in diameter to have a good reception.
