WATER PURIFIERS AND WATER SOFTENERS
In the Mediterranean area, we have a problem with water quality, soils are limestone and these properties are transmitted to water, producing hard water, with a lot of solid particles inside and a too much chlorine taste. This fact produces a lot of problems on our kidney, skin, liver, stomach, etc., etc., and therefore this increases consumption of bottled water both for drinking and cooking; to avoid these problems it is necessary to install a depurator system which is essential for water treatment.
REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM
This is my advice for purifying tap water, there are cheaper filters (but they must be a minimum of three filters, other way the water quality will be affected), its installation is not difficult, it’s necessary to have a small space under the kitchen sink that is where we will use more water to cook or drink,it is important to have enough pressure in the system water (minimum of 3 bars), a household water purifier that uses the principle of Reverse osmosis removes 95-99% of all tap water contaminants, including virus and bacteria, obtaining excellent water quality through a small tap installed on the sink.
THE WATER SOFTENERS
It works as a system of all the house, it is bigger than purification systems depending on the amount of consumption and/or housing units it will service, lime is the main drawback for the plugging of pipes and appliances such as destruction of washing machines and dishwashers, leads to dry skin, and increases consumption of detergents and soaps. It is the white layer that remains after cleaning the bathroom and lays on the shower head, its installation is a bit more complicated, depending on the size and the connection to the general network of the house.
With these two systems at home we will have an excellent quality of both the drinking and cooking water as well as the water we use for cleaning and hygiene, these systems will be paid for in about 2-3 years, so in the medium term our pocket will also be positively affected, saving the money we spend on bottled water, soaps, detergents, anti-lime lozenges, Appliances Repair, clogging our plumbing and erosion, and what is more important: our health. The first to do: analyzing the water quality at home, to know what to do.
